Dr. Mandeep has been in small animal practice since 1998. He graduated from Punjab Veterinary College, India. Then he completed a one-year clinical rotation program in Alabama. Dr. Mandeep completed his Masters in preventive medicine and parasitology in 2000. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. Dr Mandeep has a special interest and experience in preventive health care, internal medicine, geriatric health and screening, routine and complicated surgery. He also has special interest in Laser Surgery and orthopaedic surgery. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife & kids
Vijay Vikash DVM, MVSc
DVM
Dr. Vijay Vikash has been a small animal general practitioner since 2019. He practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian in India for several years before moving to the United States. Dr. Vijay attended Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in India where he earned a Bachelors in Veterinary science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & A.H.) followed by a Masters in Small Animal Surgery (MVSc. Surgery). He then completed his doctor of Veterinary Medicine requirements from the College of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Vijay has a special interest in Surgery including orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, cruciate ligament disease and oncologic surgery. He is a firm believer in constantly learning and applying new techniques to better medicine and his patient’s lives. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is bettering the lives of his patients and their owners. When not treating patients, Dr. Vijay enjoys hiking, being outdoors and exercising.
Navreen Sandhu, DVM

Dr. Navreen Sandhu graduated with her Bachelor’s of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) degree from Punjab, India in 2019. After graduating from Veterinary School, she moved to the United States and completed a one year clinical rotations program from Oklahoma State University, to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Jan, 2022. Prior to joining Roseville Animal Hospital , Dr. Navreen worked as a veterinarian in different veterinary hospitals in Chicago. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. Dr. Navreen believes that client education is very important in providing patients with the best care possible. When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Navreen loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys painting, listening to music and traveling to new places.
Gabe Reed, RVT

Gabe began her career in the veterinary field in 2012 before graduating from Sacramento State University with a BA in Sociology in 2016. She received her RVT license in 2018 after completing the Veterinary Technology Program at Veterinary Allied Staff Education. Gabe has always had a passion for animals and grew up with horses, dogs, cats and a handful of exotic animals. Gabe is passionate about positive reinforcement training, especially in the veterinary setting. In her spare time, Gabe enjoys spending time with her husband Travis, daughter Kennedy, her doberman Hunter, her lab mix Bo and 2 cats Max and Tux.
Lauren Silver

Lauren has had a passion for working with animals for as long as she can remember! She has been working in the animal care field since 2016, and
has experience working in small animal practices as well as working with farm animals and equines in sanctuary and hospital settings. She graduated from Carrington College in 2020 with a degree in Veterinary Technology and is passionate about everything involved with veterinary medicine, but found that her strength lies in customer service and
helping clients the most! When not at work, Lauren spends her time gardening, going to concerts, doing DIY home projects, playing disc golf, or trying out the many craft breweries around the Sacramento area. She shares her home with her spouse, Matt, and their sassy tortie cat, Rosemary.
Marissa Zometa
Receptionist
Marissa has worked in the animal industry for most of her life. She started volunteering at a horse farm when she was 13 years old. Marissa also worked many summers as a dog grooming assistant with her aunt who was a dog groomer. She volunteered at the ranch until she graduated from high school, then decided to go to pet grooming school. She went to the Nash Academy of Animal Arts in Lexington Ky in 2015. Once she graduated with the knowledge to groom both dogs and cats, she interned under her aunt’s guidance for 6 months, expanding her knowledge and understanding of pet grooming. She groomed pets for 6 years before deciding she wanted to work in the veterinary field. Marissa has always had a passion for animals as well as most crafts especially painting miniature figures for D&D and sewing costumes. Marissa has had lots of pets, though she currently has two cats, Toki & Lilith, as well as a goofy little terrier mix named Tugboat.
Chelsey
Receptionist
Chelsey grew up in Penryn, California. Her love and passion for the care of animals developed at a very young age. Raised on 50 acres, she grew up with a large number of different pets, from small farm animals to cats, dogs and a handful of exotics. She started out in 2015 working reception at an emergency hospital, this is when she decided she wanted to make a career out of the veterinary field. Chelsey loves learning all that she can and is planning to expand her knowledge in the future and hopes to become a RVT. Chelsey has a passion for the human-animal bond and loves to see that bond between our clients and patients. Outside of the hospital she enjoys doing arts and crafts with her son, playing with their pups, fishing, adventuring outside whenever possible with her family.
Amber Aguirre
Veterinary Assistant
Amber has been working in the veterinary field since she was an intern while in high school. She loves educating clients about inflammatory foods to avoid allergies in pets. She is currently attending Sierra College with plans to transfer this fall into an Ultrasound Technology program. When she’s not working or at school she loves spending time with her friends, family, and cat (Bowie).
Sara Colby

Sara has had a passion for working with animals since volunteering at the San Francisco Zoo 20 years ago. She has worked in both general practice and at a specialty ophthalmology practice. Sara is a plant enthusiast and loves to spend time gardening, going on hikes, and painting. Sara shares her home with her two pups Monty and Bowie.
Eliza
Veterinary Assistant
Eliza Sevilla is a veterinary assistant and has been working in the field for about 4 years. She attended Yuba college veterinary technology program and graduated in 2018. Though she is not yet registered, Eliza still aspires to be a RVT. Eliza has volunteered at Country Wildlife Rehabilitation Center as well as internships during her program years. She enjoys learning about animals and the best ways to take care of them. Eliza loves listening to music and dancing! She has two dogs named Kiwi and Winry and a lovebird named Amarilla.
Kara
Veterinary Assistant
Kara’s love for animals began as a young child as far back as she can remember. She started her career with animals in 2015 working at Bradshaw animal shelter. After attending school for animal behavior and psychology, Kara took what she learned to help rehabilitate at risk dogs in the shelter. Kara then worked with large animals such as cows, pigs, donkeys and chickens at a farm animal sanctuary and in 2018 began working in the Veterinary field and found her true calling. She has a strong passion for respectful care, client education, positive reinforcement and strives for fear-free care. In her free time Kara enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and their two dogs Riot and Tank, and their 3 cats Bella, Gohan, and Harley.
Jason Tran
Kennel Assistant
Jason’s love for animals started as a kid in his backyard in Illinois when he spent hours each day observing rabbits, birds, and other critters. Since then, he has been a caretaker for many species of small and exotic animals for over 17 years. He earned his BS in Biological Sciences in 2020. New to the field, Jason strives to support Doctors, Technicians, and Assistants to the best of his ability. He believes all living things should be treated with the utmost respect and care. Fur or scales, stray or pet, aggressive or timid, creepy and/or crawly–it doesn’t matter to Jason!
